- All flights are with ABTA/ATOL bonded travel agents.
- All tours start and finish in Warsaw (Poland), Ankara (Turvey) or Kiev(Ukraine).
- Dress: You may dress for dinner on the train if you wish, but otherwise smart casual is recommended. We want you to feel comfortable - it's your holiday!
- The price INCLUDES the services of a tour guide/interpreter, transfers, tours, train security, train accommodation, breakfasts and evening meals on the train, some midday meals, hotels - bed and breakfast except for Gala Dinner in Poprad - Tatra Explorer).
- NOT included in the price are snacks and drinks in the Bar Car, dinner and drinks at hotels (unless otherwise stated), or tips and gratuities for guides, drivers, trainstaff or locomotive crew.
- Wheelchairs: Because of the year of manufacture and the design of the train used for our tours, we regrettably have to say that there are not adequate facilities for wheelchair users who are unable to walk. Those who have collapsible wheelchairs and can walk short distances and cope with train steps can be accommodated. Most buses in Poland, Ukraine and Slovakia are still not 'wheelchair friendly', but collapsible chairs can be stored in the luguage compartment.
- All sleeping arrangements are on one level, if desired.
- For Polish tours all accommodation has adequate washing facilities which are sufficient between hotel stops. Toilets are at either end of the cars. For those for whom a daily shower is essential, we recommend either the hire of a Parlour Car or to use our train in the Ukraine which due to a broader guage can store enough water for a Shower Car.
