East Europe Rail Tours was conceived and is led by our Managing Director, Jim Colley, who has brought together his lifelong passion for steam engines, his love of Poland and his appreciation of beautiful landscapes to create an unforgettable holiday with a difference!
Jim lives with his family in the heart of the English countryside and divides his time between home and Poland - often far more of the latter than the former, as he allows no alteration to the train, the tours or the services to proceed without his personal approval. |
Whilst the company itself is small (thereby allowing 'hands-on' attention to detail!), we pride ourselves on running a professional organisation and, to ensure this, employ the services of first-class interpreters, high-class chefs and very experienced tour guides.
Several years have been spent in planning every aspect down to the last detail in an endeavour to ensure that the time you spend with us is interesting, carefree, relaxing and fun!
